Good to host Attorney General Victoria Prentis in the constituency last week for what was a very productive meeting at the CRiC Centre in Crickhowell with members of the local farming community, representatives from NFU Online, the Farmers' Union of Wales and James Evans MS.
Discussed a range of issues affecting Welsh agriculture currently, with cost rises across the board from feed to energy, but also one factor seemingly encouraged by the Welsh Government with their subsidising of international purchase of land for carbon capture box ticking.
Lots to take forward in further discussions with colleagues, including the DEFRA Secretary of State Therese Coffey whom I am due to meet with, but also an opportunity to bang the drum again for farmers across Brecon and Radnorshire.
