It has emerged in recent days that the full fibre network provider Broadway Partners has entered administration, to the concern of many residents right across Brecon and Radnorshire.
Broadway Partners specialised in providing much-needed high-speed connectivity to more rural areas across Wales and Scotland and had been actively working on eight community schemes, including Llanwrthwl, Presteigne and Knighton, with projects completed so far in Aberedw and Glascwm.
Teneo Financial Advisory Limited has been allocated as the administrator and current customers of Broadway have received assurances that there will be no change to their supply or ability to access support.
I am set to meet the Minister upon the return of Parliament next week to discuss this matter and the continued rollout of these networks, in addition to continuing to meet Openreach to push for their continued rollout.
