Fay Jones MP hosted a surgery yesterday focused on Bute Energy's proposals for wind turbines and accompanying pylons in the Radnor Forest stretching down through Radnorshire and Breconshire.
55 residents attended in total, which packed out the Harp Inn in Old Radnor, offering an opportunity to cover many of the issues concerning residents, including the impact on the ability of some to move house, with reports of sales falling through. It was clear to Fay that her efforts to press the Welsh Government and Bute Energy to rethink these plans and to listen to the affected local communities are very much grounded in the sentiment of constituents.
