Fay had a really productive chat with Renewables UK today about alternative options to onshore wind farms. Renewables UK were very clear that there is huge potential for energies such as tidal. Of particular interest is the fact that tidal power is getting cheaper, which further brings those key virtues of predictability and reliability to the fore. This is great progress toward net zero and a reduction in the need to build onshore wind farms which damage our landscapes. Fay is looking forward to following these developments.
