Fay Jones MP has spent the last week at the Royal Welsh Show, having brought colleagues including Environmental Secretary Thérèse Coffey, and Trade Minister Nigel Huddleston for discussions including a Q&A with local farmers.
Fay said:
"Truly, the Greatest Show - Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. I am beyond proud to be the MP for the Royal Welsh Show.
It was fantastic to spend all four days at the show this year, celebrating the very best Wales has to offer: Incredible food, wonderful people and a fantastic, thriving natural environment.
I was proud to bring a big gang of colleagues from Westminster to see world class Welsh farming up close. It was especially good to chair a meeting of Brecon and Radnorshire farmers with Secretary of State, Thérèse Coffey.
Once again, the show put Wales on the map. Huge thanks to Aled, Josie and all the volunteers and stewards who make it what it is. And especially to every farmer in Brecon and Radnorshire who ensures that the Show takes place on the greatest stage in the world.
Only 361 days to go until the next one!"
