It was an absolute delight to visit the Albert Hall, Llandrindod Wells and take a tour behind the scenes of the beautiful theatre last week. The small committee most definitely a family of volunteers have worked tirelessly through lockdown in their spare time, to refurbish the toilets and dressing room areas as well as other general maintenance of the building. Just before Christmas they were awarded a fantastic lottery grant and the work ahead on the premises and plans for the future promise to be rewarding not only for the Albert Hall but also for the surrounding community.
Sadly covid restrictions mean they spent much of the winter closed but all is crossed for the easing of restrictions and once more the building can return to the general bustle of Young Farmers, Drama groups, general events and fingers remain firmly crossed for the March Pantomine.
Do look out for future events and pop over to their website here to sign up for the newsletter.
For just £1 a month you can become a friend, all funds raised maintain and go toward upgrading the beautiful building and interior. We truly are blessed to have such a beautiful building and hard working team in Llandrindod Wells.
