Contact details for local voluntary groups, support for mental health, support for the farming community and support for carers are detailed below. Please email fay.jones.mp@parliament.uk if you are a support group local to Brecon and Radnorshire and you would like to be included.

Powys Association of Volunteering Organisations is co-ordinating formal health and care volunteering opportunities identified by Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board on behalf of the Community Sector Emergency Response Team (C-SERT).

Providing help for those who are isolated and need support. They are coordinating some of the volunteers in the community as well.

Home Support is an established service run by the East Radnor Day Centre. They offer a variety of services such as essential shopping, a prescription delivery service, telephone monitoring calls, welfare checks and any help as necessary.  The service is fully funded by Powys County Council. 

They will also be offering a Meals on Wheels Service.

Mental Health Support:

Online CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy) is available through the Powys Teaching Health Board and is facilitated through SilverCloud. You can self-refer and it's easy to register and use.

Face to Face services closed are closed but they are offering telephone support and you can contact staff via their Facebook accounts or Skype if needed.

All centres are closed but they will be running small walking groups and they provide wellbeing support on phone.
